Listen to a little classical music while you work.
This is my pen name. Blogging is my job. I love my work passionately. This is lucky for me. Or it’s a blessing. I say this respectfully for those of you who are not spiritually-inclined. I must add that I hope that most of you will be on the same page as me. Life’s complex. But it becomes easier when you are able to relax in conversation while sharing thoughts and matters of interest with ladies (or girls) who have thoughts in common and are as excited about the things that matter to you the most.
I am blessed because most of the things that excite me are closely connected to my spiritual feelings.
This love blog of mine can only share a few things of interest to me. So, here I am focusing on those things that I am doing regularly these days along with those thoughts I have in regard to matters of the heart and spirituality. Now, how on earth did I come to name this the love blog? It all began in my mother’s kitchen. We were talking about the very subject of blogging. Because she has so much to say about life and her day to day experiences, I suggested to her that she start her own blog.
It is really quite easy.
Those of you who are still procrastinating like my mother, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. Not only is it easy, it’s also priceless. Many of you – and I understand this wholeheartedly – are concerned about money. You needn’t be. The best things in life are all free. And money, in case you haven’t noticed, remains the root of all evil. It does not matter what religion or sect you belong to; all the spiritual guides and wise sayings of the teachers and prophets say the same thing.
Before we run out of time, let me clarify some of the things you can look forward to in this personal blog. Its main theme is love. Everything I write from hereon will be centered on love. Sub-themes on love will abound. Even the iffy topic of romance will be intertwined in my posts somewhere. Spiritual love and how we treat each other with love and kindness is likely to be prominent.
Now, while my mother was still haggling over whether she should give blogging a try (it’s free, by the way), she did have suggestions for me. So, based on her ideas, I’ve decided on the following.
My mother’s quite sweet. She remembered those things that matter to me the most in life. This is easy for her because we have much in common anyway. Where mothers and daughters are concerned, I think this is quite fortunate. Speaking of my mother, she suggested I talk about family. She also recommended that I start discussions on matters of faith. And because it’s such a passion of mine anyway, she said that I should share with you my love for books.
We need to talk about what it means to be healthy, mentally and physically. So, there will be snippets on food and exercise and the great outdoors. That being said, I need to talk about my love for nature and my concerns about caring for the environment.
Enjoy your reading.
